Pods Hold Stories

Pods are a holding vessel for the seeds within, a space of nurturing and protection for potential life. In this workshop, I led  a collective seed drawing session where participants paid close attention to the form, appearance and materiality of seeds, transforming observations into individual drawings. After blind counter drawing, participants drew their own choice of seed still life or microscopic observations, while listening to stories about meaningful seeds.

This workshop was part of the exhibition at the Museum of Economic Botany, Tools for Quiet Activism, in collaboration with Adelaide Contemporary Experimental.
